THE GREATEST GIFT

Listening to the debates on TimesNow on the corruption and Lokpal issues, what struck me - what is the best gift that we can leave behind for our children, and their generation.

I believe it would be to leave behind a better world; a better country; a better city; a better home for them than what we  inherited.

JP Sir, long time :) I too feel that more than anything, the initiative and the proactive manner of our discussions and the way the youth too have involved themselves, would be, as you have suggested, leave behind a better world.

Usha Pisharody: Thank you for your comment and yes, its been a long time since we said hello. Visited your blog - seems you are renovating. Good luck.

Like you, I am hoping and praying that we have a catalyst in Anna Hazare who can galvanise the youth, like he has already done, in to changing the mindset that exists amongst our educated, middle aged, middle class. Youth and middle class are the change agents in any country. The onus is on us.

We have to change, for the nation to change.
