There is a heat wave on in the northern part of India and matters have been made worse for us humans with the frequent power cuts. The plight of the birds and insects is even more pitiable. We bought this little clay pot and put it out on two of our balconies and since then we have had a number of visitors for having beaks full of water..................
and some come just to cool off by splashing around the water.....
