One billion vaccinations is a great feat and needs to be celebrated. The hard work of our scientists, technicians, industry, frontline staff, supply chain, hospital staff, medical personnel, etc has together with cooperation of the people of India under the inspiring leadership of PM Modi made this possible, overcoming all the challenges of 1st wave, PPE/ oxygen/ hospital beds/ ICU shortages, ferocious 2nd wave, black fungus, vaccine short supply internationally, costs, partisan political system, international & national naysayers, etc.
