It has become impossible to listen to the news. It does not matter which channel.
On every channel there are people arguing, with volumes such that no one can hear what is being said.
Most TV anchors cannot moderate the ongoing debate. Are they only concerned about TRPs, or are they unable to get the right kind of guests? A debate is meant to inform, to educate people on the various perspectives. This is definitely not happening, as I see it. It is irritating & frustrating, at the same time.
There are some guests who actually have a point of view and refuse to budge even when the evidence is against them, and on top of that, they refuse to stop talking.
The only controlled channel is DD. Have we come a full circle?
Many a times, I just switch off the channel, try other channels and finally switch off.
